it's funny how a single event inspires someone to write something not only about dat event but other related happenings. dis is what happened when i finally watched " a curious case of benjamin button" ; a cinematic marvel....and d ultimate tribute to screenwriting. Brilliantly adapted from a short story it emphasizes throughout on the fact that nothing lasts forever.; which reminded me of the 2009 Australian Open Final which Federer again lost to Nadal. It just appears that Federer reign at the top is coming to an end and that last year was not an aberration but the beginning of an end.
i didnt watch the finals ...or rather i cudnt watch it coz i was travelling bak from home during that time but even the recordings of the match and the description of the way events folded moved me to despair. How difficult can it be for the gr8est player of all time to beat the second best player of his generation is quite difficult to fathom and while the heart says that federer will rise up get rid of the chinks in his armoury and finally nail nadal at the french...the mind says it's quite unlikely.

meanwhile moving on...job@tcs.com is going on at a leisurely pace..it seems that i am quite lucky considering the generosity of my pl's and seniors in the project. the job is regulation though and it is just sinking to me with each passing day that this definitely is nt my cup of tea. guess i wil hav to stick around until i find greener pastures. weekends are fun in mumbai and while there are many a places to go...my love for loud music and chics...take me along to hard rock cafe invariably...and it does recharge my batteries for the boring weekdays ahead.
watching movies has certainly come down with the gruelling schedule and benjamin button was something which i watched after a long time. still 3 movies which i have watched over the lasst 2 weeks have had a numbing effect on me. it all began with luck by chance and was followed with dev d and finally culminated with benjamin button.
